I'm trying to apply for a certificate of residence but a little confused on how to proceed. I moved away from the UK in August so had selected 'Have you ever left the UK to work overseas?', however, this takes me to a page asking when I returned. I have not returned yet and don't plan to right now. How should I fill this out?

Hi ,
 
A certificate of residence is only appropriate to UK residents. 

If you were a UK resident up to August, that is the latest you can request a certificate of residence to. 

In the date of arrival, enter your date of birth .
