Rules around time abroad for claiming state pension

My aunt is British and has worked over 10 years to get state pension.
For quote a few years, she's had to spend some time abroad looking after a relative for big chunks of time.
She's approaching pension age and wonders whether this will affect her pension.
Does she have to be in the UK for a set stretch of time before claiming state pension?
Is there some sort of residency requirement?
