Company Car Benefit - Should inform HMRC even though employer pays BIK tax through PAYE

Good day I received my "low emission car plan" car bought through salary sacrifice mid-June. My employer started to collect BIK tax through my salary from July accounting for the June use. My questions is: Knowing that BIK tax is collected through my paycheck, do I still need to inform HMRC online about the car benefit? I'm concerned that it will cause a double taxation. Many thanks M

If your Employer has already reported this Car Benefit, you do not need to inform HMRC about this new Taxable Benefit.
