I am resident on the Isle of Man & surrendered a U.K. pension policy at the beginning of the year. I was taxed at 40% on this & have completed a double taxation form which I submitted to HMRC in July. I have still received no communication regarding the refund of this tax, does anyone know how long this process is currently taking as I am concerned I will have to pay part of this tax again in January as part of my tax return on island. Not ideal at all.
