Hello, I living abroad since 2021 November and today I got a letter from HM revenue. It say: You are due a repayment of Income Tax for the tax year shown above. A cheque for £1028.20 is attached below. Our calculation of this amount has been sent to you separately. It means I did not pay enough tax and I have to pay them? How that would be possible if I didnt work in the last half year in the UK? anyone help?

Hi,

This means that you are due a tax refund and we are sending you a cheque for this.

Thank you.
