New job and Marriage tax allowance.

I have started a new job and currently give my married tax allowance to my spouse. Do I need to request it back or does this automatically happen?

Hi     Your Personal Allowance will transfer automatically to your partner every year until you cancel your Marriage Allowance  Marriage Allowance change of circumstances
