Inheritance /Gift tax on UK property owned by Spanish resident

If a UK Tax resident inherits or is gifted a property in the UK owned by their parent who is a Spanish resident what are the tax liabilities for the UK resident in the UK?

There would be no liability at the point of inheritance.

If you then rent out or sell the property you need to report the income.
