Offshore investment account

Hi, Looking for some guidance on declaring overseas funds. I have an investment account invested in mutual funds (non-qualifying account) based in Luxembourg, and I intend to withdraw the funds to a UK bank account. Do I need to declare these funds as overseas income? There are no gains to report under local taxation rules however I am unsure of the implications of depositing it in a UK account. I am working offshore but I will return to the UK and be a UK resident. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Adam
