Own a rental property for several years (property A). Currently have property as dwelling purchased 18 month ago and paid ADS at this time (property B). In process of purchasing other property as dwelling(property C) and obviously have 6% ADS to pay on this. Question is when I sell current dwelling(property B), if within the 3 years of it's original purchase, can I claim refund of ADS even though I still own 2 other properties? Thank you Bernie

Hi,

Sorry, we can only answer HMRC questions on this forum.

Please contact Revenue Scotland for advice regarding the Additional Dwelling Supplement.

Thank you.
