My trustees of a will estate, made me sign my tax rebates to them. They were discretionary payments from the trustees and I was intitled to 20% of the 45% tax the trustees paid.. Due to a recent disclosure of a life assurance policy which was settled in 2012, The trustees have been adding discretionary payments on my tax return, even though I dont receive any funds at all.. They also have been utilising my tax allowances..I only earn @ £10k on a p60 . My tax returns are showing that I receive in total as being @ £20k to £25k. Recently they said i had to sign an acknowledgement of agreement, when I signed this ,which was before I learnt about the above. I received a £4k overpayment of child tax credits... Any advice needed. Hmrc are being non helpful at the moment

Hi,

If you feel you have been co-erced into signing repayment-authority documentation against your will, and/or if you  feel that individuals acting on your behalf have
engaged in dishonest or fraudulent activity,  you should consider,

(a) seeking legal advice

(b) asking the relevant Ombudsman to investigate your allegations.

Thank you.

I've also checked my bank statements and when money had gone in, £6k they put £12k and also they included the tax paid at £12k then used my allowance and paid 20% on it..I've tried a lawyer and the trustees have to give permission
