Losses varied forward to the following year

I'm trying to work out which fields to complete in order to carry forward a loss for the last tax year to the Current tax year but when I try and fill in the field in the losses page in my self assessment tax return it constantly says there is an error and asks me to fill in additional fields but U can't wok out what I need to enter.

The "Loss brought forward from earlier yearsset-off against 2021-22 profits: (optional)" box cannot exceed the amount entered for 'Net business profit for tax purposes'. You may receive a warning message asking you to check your entries. If they are correct, press save and continue. Any remaining losses are then entered on the next screen, depending on what you intend to do with them.
