Hi HMRC, I'm employed in UK, and paying tax via PAYE currently. In year 2024-2025, I also received UK local bank saving interest (e.g. £1500). May I know whether I still need to do a self-assessment and submit tax return for this saving interest. Or actually the tax will be paid via my PAYE account directly? Thanks!

Hi B K,
As your previous question involves foreign income, a tax return is required and you will include your UK interest on the return.
Thank you.
