I have completed my tax return for 2021/22 (I have not yet submitted my return - just saved and viewed calculation FYI.) I have indicated on this tax return, and sent info to HMRC via online portal, that i STOPPED being self employed 31/12/2021. I therefor should not pay any self employment tax for 2022/23. However, my calculation is still showing payment required in January 2023, and July 2023 for tax year 2022/23. How do I amend?

Hi,
Once you hit Save and Continue on the calculation summary, the next page asks if you are claiming to reduce the Payments on Account for 22/23.

You can then reduce them to 0.

Thank you.
