I pay 15% tax on USA dividends. I think I should be able to tick "I wish to claim foreign tax credit relief" at 15%. However, it says "WARNING: Make sure you have selected and entered the correct amount of Foreign Tax Credit Relief. Select the percentage rate from the list provided." AND I can only select 12% as "Maximum foreign tax credit relief". Why can't I select 15%? Thanks

Hi,

Under the double taxation agreement you should be able to claim 15%. This is just a warning to ensure you have the correct amount.

You can still select 15% and then click next. You will also need to ensure you have entered the correct country.

Thank you.
