Hello, I was just hoping for some clarification re: my self assessment form. I am currently working as a self-employed digital artist, and one of my clients is in the United States and has been paying me in GBP. This money is not taxed within the States. Should I report this as Foreign Income on my self assessment form?

Not HMRC...NO...this is part of your turnover, your turnover is all income received from wherever the client is in the world...you invoiced them from the UK, it is UK income regardless of where your client is.

Hi Joe Byrne,
No. this is part of your self employment turnover and is reported on your tax return as part of your self employed income.
Thank you,
