IMy employer now asks me to travel to my non contractual base several days a week annd each return daily journey is under 20 miles using my own vehicle. Would that be viewed as legitimate business mileage and could be claimed at 45 p rate with no tax implications ? Thanks

Hi,
It would be seen as normal commute to work unless it is regarded as a temporary workplace - Ordinary commuting and private travel (490: Chapter 3)
Thank you.
