Income earned from money earned abroad as resident investments

Hello, I am a UK citizen, now a UAE resident working full-time here, expect to be here for the next three years. Instead of repatriating my savings back to the UK, I plan to invest in property in the UAE. Upon my return to the UK and when I am no longer a resident of UAE, would the income generated from property rentals in UAE be taxed in the UK? Thanks

Once you are a UK tax resident again, yes the rental income would be taxable in the UK.
