Hello I am UK citizen and have UK domicile. I have some foreign dividends (under £1000) for FY23-24. These are either used to buy more shares in a foreign country, or kept as cash in the foreign account. So these are not remitted to UK. There has been some tax withheld by foreign country as well. I have following questions. 1. Do I put them on foreign income or just dividend income page (given these are under £1000) 2. How do I claim the tax withheld by foreign country. I believe that I need to still show them on the self assessment form (as these are used as arising basis), but If I put them on dividend page, I do no get any option to claim the tax. Please help. Thank you.
