I am registered as self employed and completing a tax return for the first time. My taxable income from my self employment is £7719.38. The tax return has calculated that I need to pay £106.95 for Class 2 NICs, despite stating that 'If your taxable profits are £6,725 or more, you will not need to pay Class 2 NICs.'. Why am I still required to pay this? Thank you for your help.

Not HMRC...you arent, from 24/25 no Class 2 is payable, unless voluntary
