I have an investment fund account in Hong Kong. I received monthly income from the funds. Some funds invest mainly in stocks , some mainly in bonds and one invests in both. Should I classified the income as dividends or interests?

Hi,

Dividends arise from shares, and interest from savings and bonds. They should be declared separately, as they both attract different rates of tax.

Thank you.
