I filled in my 19/20 self assessment wrong because of the seiss grants I added them and then hmrc added them again,so the result a big tax bill, which obviously I can’t afford,I wrote a letter which so far has been ignored,I even rang up and was just left for 45 minutes by a man who said he would ask an advisor,I tried to Anne d my return but I was out of time,I’m at my wits end any help would be appreciated,I’ve literally been ignored twice 👍🏻

For 19/20 changes to the return need to be made in writing as we are outside the 12 month period for amending a return, the current timescale for the post to be reviewed is currently 20 weeks.

If the tax return was for 20/21 you can either amend this online or we can review this over the telephone:

Self Assessment tax returns    .

Thank you.
