I have taught a few classes on Preply this year and they just sent me a message about EU Vat based on the location of the student. My only student is in Poland. I've only made about 12USD (Preply is an American company and pays in dollars). If I teach one class a week, my entire annual income would be 52 x 6. That should be below Vat Registration and income tax thresholds. Do I still need to report this income, because of this new EU law?

There is only a requirement to register for VAT in the UK if you're turnover is ov er 90K on a rolling 12 month basis

If you are supplying digital supplies to individuals in the EU then there may be a requirement to regisater for VAT in the member state.
