Hi
When you answer yes to that question, it will then open the 'Employment Expenses' page for you to complete and the WFH allowance should be entered into the box 'other expenses and capital allowances'.
Thankyou.
Regards.

Hi Can I enter £624 in Other Expenses and Capital Allowances to cover WFH in 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 tax years as I have not had to complete self assessments until now? Thank you

Hi. Can I still claim the WFH allowance for 2020/21 on self-assessment? I've logged in but it says I can't amend any more - is there another way of claiming? Thank you

Hi

Angela Urry,

If

(a) you meet Self Assessment criteria and

(b) you wish to claim expenses for both 2020/21 and 2021/22,

you would have to register for Self Assessment and complete returns for both years (and claim the expenses incurred in each year).

See Link:

Check if you need to send a Self Assessment tax return   .

Thank you.

Hi kate senior,

You will now need to write in and claim overpayment relief for the 2020 to 2021 tax year.

You will need to specify that you are claiming overpayment relief and there has been no previous claim and that the particulars are correct to the best of your knowledge and belief.

Thank you.
