Hi, Fully understand you guys are busy at this time of year but do you have a timescale for repayments? I made a request for repayment last Thursday the 7th which is still showing as pending.

Hi,

Our timescale for SA repayments is 10 working days after it has changed to issued.

If the repayment has been selected for additional checks we aim to complete these within 6 weeks.

Thank you.

Hi, Just to clarify - is this 10 days from when you issued or 10 days from when the status changes from what it is currently - ‘Pending’?

Have you had your payment yet Sharpy? I filed on the 6th and showing repayment pending since 7th not issued yet. Just want to know if anyone has moved to issued yet?

Hi guys , so my question is how long can we expect it to say 'pending ' before being changed to 'issued ' if there are no problems . Cheers.

Hi

Darren Woods,

Once the repayment has been created it will be pending, it can take a few days for this to be changed to issued if it is not selected for additional security checks.

If stopped for additional checks it can take 6-8 weeks to be issued.

Thank you.

I know people are busy, but can’t be that much to check to verify that it’s me. Do I need to call so they now it’s me? Regards

Hi I submitted my self assessment return around mid-May and am owed a refund. Nothing received so far so I rang HMRC Self Assessment helpline today who told me that my return was subject to additional security checks and that I would be contacted within the next TEN weeks. The advisor was unable to provide any information on what security checks were involved or why my (simple and low value) self-assessment had been selected, but I was shocked that it would take 10 weeks instead of the 6 weeks I have seen posted on various forums.
