Timescale for repayments?

Hi,

If a repayment is selected for additional security checks, we aim to clear these within 6 weeks where possible. As it is passed 25 January you can contact our Self Assessment team again to query the position.

I have done only to be told wait another 10 ways and why ? When it’s passed checks and was issued 6 weeks ago

Spoke with self assessment today was told it’s passed checks and is just waiting on a back log of payments and could be any day now or even tomorrow! Fingers crossed As there are no other checks needed

Spoke with self assessment again yesterday I was told it should go in any day now or it could be a back log Could you tell me how long after Security checks would the repayment be paid ? As it was sent by BACS on the 14th December 2022

If the repayment is showing as issued on our system, it would be received within 10 working days.
We can't confirm the status of the repayment without checking your record.
