If I claim a tax refund how long does that take to process ?

If I claim a tax refund how long does that take to process and when will that show up on the system ? I think I have made a claim but my (positive) balance is unchanged.

Hi,

If this is for Self Assessment, it will update to pending online usually after 24 hours, you would need to check with our Self Assessment team after this timescale if it is still showing as a balance.
