Hi I have been making regular payments to my self assessment tax bill. My account is showing as in credit with the next bill due 31 July. Is there anyway to transfer this credit to the bill before July so it doesn’t show as credit, and subsequently shows as tax paid on the tax year overview. I am in the proceeds of applying for a mortgage and they need to see tax has been settled for 24/25 and having the amount as credit is not sufficient as the tax year overview looks like I still have a large outstanding amount to fund for this year

Hi,
While this payment will be allocated automatically on the day that it is due, we can allocate a payment when it is within 45 days of it's due date.
You can contact us from the 17th of June to have your payment allocated to your 2nd Payment on Account via Self Assessment: general enquiries
Thank you.
