Hi My employer paid a medical insurance for me which is £1000 per annum, am I correct that this £1000 considered as benefit received which will be subjected to tax? Besides, if I attended a medical treatment costing £500 and the insurance company reimbursed that £500 to me, is that £500 countes as income? Thanks

Hi

Yes the £1000 is a taxable benefit but the reimbursement of medical fees should not be declared.

Thank you
