Hi, In January this year I paid some student loan repayment as part of my self assessment tax return for 2020/2021. I have since finished payment off my student loan through my employment PAYE and a final direct repayment, but the money I paid through my self assessment was never credited to my student loan account, and as a result I have overpaid. Earlier this year I became aware that my student loan would soon be paid off. Knowing that the repayment from self assessment had yet to credit the account I spoke to someone in a self assessment technical support team and was told that the repayment was "stuck due to a technical error", and that I should repay the loan and, once I did so, the overpayment should be refunded to me automatically. This was over 3 months ago and has yet to happen. I have called a few different numbers for student loans and self assessment, but the only answer I have been given is that the overpayment will eventually credit by student loan account, and I will them be able to claim it back. Any advice on how to resolve this would be appreciated. Thanks
