Hi all, I'm just in the process of submitting my self-assessment for 21/22 but the calculation I'm getting appears to be wrong. According to both my P60 and the GOV website, my personal allowance is 12810, but the value used in my return is the standard 12570. Is there a way for me to correct this in the SA? Other than my 1 employment income, I do have health insurance but I've included that in my return value already. Not sure what else I might be missing as this is the first time I've had an incorrect calculation.

The standard allowance is 12570.

As your is higher on your payslip you appear to have relief that could relate to pension relief or expenses.

You can check this on your tax code and then tailor your tax return to claim the relevant relief   .

Thank you.
