Hi, my personal income only includes the interest from foreign saving accounts and dividends from the us companies and no other income. My interest from the foreign accounts is over 2000 and I know to fill the amount in the foreign income - interest but the total dividends from US companies is just 50 (including foreign tax), and this amount should be filled in the dividends - foreign dividends (up to 1000) or foreign income - dividends from foreign companies? Thanks.

Hi csw5sc Kong,
On the paper SA100, you can declare the untaxed foreign interest  (up to £2000) in box 3 of page TR3 and foreign dividends (up to £1000) in box 6, with foreign tax declared in box 7.
The alternative is to declare them in the foreign section (SA106)
In the online tax return, tick 'yes' to interest and to dividends on page 2 of 3, when tailoring your return.
Thank you.
