Switching Employers

Hi there, can someone please help me urgently? I’m currently working at Firm A and will be joining Firm B on March 6th 2023. Firm B has successfully gotten me a Skilled Worker Visa The situation I get my bonus on 31st Jan 2023 from Firm A I was planning to resign from my job on 1st Feb 2023 and I have a 4 week notice period My current visa expires on 3rd Feb 2023 which means I can’t finish my notice period for Firm A What are my options here if I want to finish my notice period? Can I ask my current employer to extend my visa whilst currently holding a visa from Firm B Can I ask Firm A to extend my visa and then ask Firm B to apply for a new visa afterwards? Firm B just received an approval from UKGOV for my new visa yesterday. Other questions Having the one month gap of unemployment- does it impact my ILR application? If I don’t finish my notice period, does my current employer have the right to forfeit my bonus?
