SA tax refund filed April now getting ignored

Hello can anyone help me I've been self employed for past 10 years and CIS registered, I've never had an issue with repayments before however for 21-22 I filed my online return on 6 April 2022 now its 12 Dec 22 still not recieved.. I was sent surf2 months ago which hmrc confirmed they recieved my final reply for additional infomation on 20th Oct, I was told this would be sorted by 7th Dec now on the 12th when I call up the adviser can not tell me anything apart from the team who was suppose to sort has not done so and they will enquire for me but don't expect a reply for why its not been done until the 29th December... Please advise me this just seems like a massive delay tactic as hmrc are still saying reply take maximum 7 weeks

I apologise in the delay for you getting your refund. When you contact our helpline we can only refer your case to the department who would are involved in the SURF process and we give you the timescale that we have at that time. Thank you.
