My Dad - who is 84 years old - completed the online form in May to stop doing a self-assessment. His affairs are in order, very straightforward and I am unclear why he was still completing one. Logging into his account the message says "sorry for the delay, you can expect a response by 20 June". He is understandably anxious that the message is considerably out of date, and the deadlines for doing a new assessment are approaching. How can he find out what is happening? He finds phoning difficult to navigate.
