I got an email from HMRC saying that my self-employment registration application had been rejected because the address provided did not match the HMRC records. The email advised me to check my Personal Tax Account profile. After doing so, I do not see any difference between the provided address and the one associated with my profile. How can I know where the problem is? Who should I contact in order to clarify the situation and complete my application?

If this error keeps happening and the details on your account are correct, I would advise to register over the telephone.
