Hi there, I am almost ready to submit my renewal for my Working Tax Credit, I am self employed, and would like to know whereabouts on my renewal I should list the SEISS grant that I received last year please? Thanks for your advice!

Hi,

The SEISS grant is treated as income.

Please refer to the guidance for more information:

How to claim tax credits

Thank you.

Thanks, I've had a look at the link and although it confirms the grant is treated as income, it doesn't actually say which box it goes in- do I add it to my self employed income and put it in box 2.4, or add it to my other income and enter it in box 2.5? Thanks for your help!

Hi,

You should add it to your self-employed income.

Thank you
