Hello! I've been living 5 years in the UK, and I kept my savings before arriving in the UK in an off shore account in Jersey. Now I would like to bring them into UK for family support/spent. Is there any documentation/declaration that I need to present, and if so, where and how? Many thanks.

Hi,
There are no tax implications for transferring savings to a UK bank account unless they generate interest or dividends.
These would then potentially be subject to tax.
Further guidance can be found here:
Tax on savings interest
Tax on dividends
Thank you
