I have always renewed by phone, last year i gave estimate of earnings for 21-22 ive had my books done and phoned up to give my actual earnings and a man told me he cant do it because i havent filled in a renewal for 21-22 ? I was awarded money for that year i got sent all paperwork, this year i was sent paperwork for 22-23 i phoned and said i am retiring in march so was sent paperwork for a period of april i didnt recieve my pension or money from self employment very confused 😕

Usually a provisional notice is issued as a result of a change of circumstance during the renewal period.
