Child Benefit

Hello there, I signed up for child benefit using the HMRC online gateway. I received a text on the 9th of April saying they were processing the claim. However, there is no record of this new claim on my child benefit history on the gateway, just a point that historically I opted out many years ago. Shall I continue to wait/reapply or contact and if so will my claim which I am now entitled be backtracked.
