VAT on Commercial Vehicles

Good afternoon I am taking delivery of my new business vehicle on 20 Dec 22. As I am VAT registered Trust Ford say I can claim back the VAT on the purchase. What paperwork do I need ask for ? Can I still use Simplified Expenses for business vehicles ?

Motoring expenses (VAT Notice 700/64)  ,

if you are entitled to reclaim the VAT on the vehicle you would claim it on your VAT return you will need a full VAT invoice section 16 in this link :
