I used to get email reminders from HMRC to pay my quarterly VAT bill but they seem to have stopped. does anyone know how I re-instate these reminders? thx

To set up an email reminder for the submission of the VAT return you need to:
  • sign into your  Business Tax Account (BTA)
  • go to Manage Account in your BTA
  • follow the instructions in the BTA to set up the reminder
If you have any problems please contact our VAT team for advice.

I also found email VAT notification useful and would like to restart them. However "follow the instructions in the BTA to set up the reminder" doesn't really help. Sorry but I couldn't find the instructions. Perhaps you could post the instructions into this thread. Or better still update the website, to be honest I don't think they exist! Appreciated.
