Newly registered but cannot access system to file return

Hi, My business had to register for VAT in January and received confirmation of the VAT registration number on 15 Jan 2024. I am due to file a first quarterly VAR return, using my making tax digital software but am unable to register the business for the payment service either directly on the HMRC Online Service or via the third party software. It does not recognise the number/business postcode. Also, when I check HMRC to see if my business is registered, it does not come up on the search. What should I do?
