Anyone else been misinformed about their claim ? Spoke to self build team last week, was told my claim was just awaiting final authorisation signature, would have the money by the end of last week. Phoned them today, they denying I was told that, absolutely fuming ,apparently the person that spoke to me did not work for the self build dept ? what an awful service this is ! really expect better from the HMRC 7 months now .....

Our claim was submitted 1st April 2022. We received a text message saying that the claim had been received and we would receive funds within 20 working days. When that date passed we rang the DIY team to then be told the text messages were sent out by mistake ! and our claim had not even been looked at. I have rang twice since, our has claim still not been looked at. We are now at 14 weeks This service is not acceptable , we have had to pay so much money out ,and are still paying off loans for the build We get fined if we send late payments to the HMRC its a very poor service
