Tax and N. I. on employment tribunal awards
If you are awarded say £1000 at an employment tribunal for "unlawful deductions of wages" I think I am right in thinking tax and N.I. would need to be paid on the award. My question: Is the tax payable on the full £1000? Is N. I. payable on the full £1000?
