  • Private mileage deduction for travel to customer sites

Hi It states in someone's contract that their place of work is one of the company's offices, but their role is to travel to customer sites when required (these vary on a daily basis). Should travel expenses be claimed from home to the customer's site for the full amount of miles or should the amount of "normal" commute i.e., the mileage it would take them to get to their place of work be deducted from this amount. Example Home to company office = 15 miles Home to customer office = 20 miles Would claim be 20 miles or 5 miles? Thanks
