stopped being self employed - still asking for Jan / July 2022/23 payments
I have completed my tax return for 2021/22 (I have not yet submitted my return - just saved and viewed calculation FYI.) I have indicated on this tax return, and sent info to HMRC via online portal, that i STOPPED being self employed 31/12/2021. I therefor should not pay any self employment tax for 2022/23. However, my calculation is still showing payment required in January 2023, and July 2023 for tax year 2022/23. How do I amend? -
tax calculation - not showing what I pay in Jan 202 and July 2022
Hi, I paid forward tax in January 2022 and in July 2022, this was for tax year 2021/22. When completing my self assessment for tax year 2021/22, the tax calculation showed DOES NOT take into account what I have paid forward in January 2022 and July 2022. When I submit, will this be taken into account and what I I already paid be deducted? PS - what I have already paid is MORE than what tax calculation is for whole of 2021/22. -
RE: Ceased self employment and payments on account
