Second job has main tax code
I have had a primary and secondary job since April 2022, my primary job always had my tax code and I paid BR tax on the my second job. Now, since April 2023, my tax code has been allocated to my second job and I’m guessing I will be paying BR tax on my primary job. I have no idea why this has changed. My primary job no longer appears on the HMRC PAYE app, I have completed a form nearly a month ago to update and still not had anything back. I cannot afford to pay BR tax on my primary job. What should I do?
