I am now at a complete loss. I claimed tax refund online in April 2024 for FY22-23 to be paid directly into my account; received no confirmation of receipt; never received a refund and no sign of it online. After 6 months a mysterious message appeared about a cheque that allegedly was sent in June 24 for a much lesser amount, which I never received. Amounts don't match up, there is no clear info on my online account, and I haven't got my tax back! Has anyone else has an issue with claiming a refund online and got a satisfactory resolution? What happens if a cheque is lost in the post or stolen? I can't get through on any of the helpdesk numbers and online robot isn't letting me speak to an agent... What are my options?..
