If, as a UK resident I receive an inflow from my overseas bank account for an oversea loan I have arranged, do I have to declare it?

My partner and I, both Spanish residents in the UK, want to buy a property in the UK and we are considering taking out a private loan in Spain instead of a mortgage in the UK because the conditions are more favorable. - Is there any implication in making a transfer of such an amount? - Is it necessary to declare this income in our UK accounts if we transfer it from our Spanish accounts?
