I have read elsewhere on the internet, that the "Deed of Variation" does not exist in the USA. It would be appreciated if anyone can confirm the accuracy of this. Thank you.

I have elderly childless relatives domiciled in the USA. If I inherit from them, can I use a "Deed of Variation" in the UK, to re-distribute this inheritance amongst my wider family?
